FAREWELL PARTIES
EVENING AT MORRINSVILLE An enjoyable bridge evening was held at Mrs Hewitt's home in Allen Street, Morrinsville, in honour of Mrs R. Newlands, of Tahuna Road, who will leave shortly to reside in Hamilton. The hostesses were Mrs S. G. Brewis and Mi-sses F. and T. Hewitt. The rooms were artistically decorated with bowls of autumn berries and leaves. The hostesses received their guests. Mrs Brewis wearing mushroom pink silver-threaded cloque. Miss F. Hewitt. Margaret Rose pink sprigged sand crepe and Miss T. Hewitt crimson velvet. The guest-of-honour wore a frock of mauve moire taffeta. The prize-winners for the evening were Mrs D. T.
