May 31 There were 500 casualties when insurgent bombs were dropped on the crowded market square at Granollers. The entire ambulance resources were rushed 20 miles to Granollers. The casualties were over 500 killed, mostly women and children. Five planes dropped 40 bombs, one exploding on a food queue. The town Is crowded with refugees.
