BRIDGE PARTY
C.E.M.S. COMMITTEE ENJOYABLE EVENING Bowls of flowers in vivid golden shades, Iceland poppies and gaillardia formed artistic decorations in the Centreway Rooms last evening when a successful and enjoyable bridge party, arranged by the committee of the Church of England Men's Society, was held. A large number was present and a pleasant evening was spent, the guests being entertained with bridge and five hundred. Later in the evening a delicious supper was served. The prize-winners at the end of the evening's play were:— Mrs Mclvor, Mrs Stockman, Mr L. Coombes; consolation. Mrs J. Smith. Those present included: Mesdames H. J. Warrington, B. H. Andrew's, H. J.
