CLARKE BEATS RAYNER (Special to Times) AUCKLAND, Tuesday In the Town Hall last evening dairy Rayner, of Blenheim, was defeated by a technical knock-out in the eleventh round by the light-weight champion boxer of Western Australia, Snowy Clarke, who was making his first appearance in New Zealand. Clarke was the aggressor from the beginning and during the contest he had his opponent on the mat on no fewer than nine occasions, the referee intervening after the New Zealander had gone down for the third time in the eleventh round.
