HUNTLY COMPETITION CAPTAINS TROPHY ROUND (Special to Times.) HUNTLY. Tuesday The second round for the captain's trophy was played by the members of ttie Huntly Golf Club on Saturday, when the following cards were handed in:—N. Carlson. 87—22—65; R. Clinch, 75 —G—69; T. Furniss, 84— 15—69; N. Cuthbert, 101—30—71; S. Bennet, 87—14—73; W. Roberts, 93—22—73; L. Hogg, 102—28—74; D. E. Hart, 90—17—79; T. Shaw, 104—18—86; Sale, 113—30—88. OTOROHANGA CLUB WEEK-END COMPETITIONS (Special to Times) OT oho MANGA. Monday. F»ne weather prevailed Tor week-end play on the Otorohanga links. The ladles' morning medal round was won by Mrs Prescoit. who also won the arternoon foursome. Mrs C. Hotson winning the competition. The men's morning medal was won by W. Keheley (71 ), the runner-up being J. M. Quin 172). The Stableford competition was won by J. M. Quin with K. Bedell runner-up. The all-day mortal competition was won bv w. Kebeley with 142 net J. m. Quin and K. Bedell tied for second with 1(4 each. The winning men s team were Messrs c Irvine, N. ormsby. W. Rust and l\. Snowden.
