BCHOOL COMMITTEE (Special to Times) WHATAWHATA. Thursday. There wa« a small attendance at the householders’ meeting held recently to el.-ct a new school committee. The following were elected: Messrs C. Yeoman. (3. Barton. F. Kempthorne. H. Wills, >. Russell. Messrs s. Russell and (3. Barton respectively. It was decided to carry out extensive alterations to the school grounds and to tar the playgrounds. Domain Board The annual meeting or the Whatawhata Domain Hoard wa- held in the local hall recently. The balance-.sheet showed a satisfactory credit or r*.»u 2? ort. The following* officers were re-elected: Chairman. Mr J. Kempthorne: deputy - chairman. Mr 4. Hfggln«on; secretary and treasurer. Mr s. Hu—eii; emergency committee. Messrs Kempthorne. lligglnsun and Russell.
