FALSE DECLARATIONS MADE PRISON TERM IMPOSED (By Telegraph.—Press Association) NAPIER, Monday On four charges of making false declarations in respect of house properties, James Humphrey was sentenced to-dav to six weeks’ hard labour on the first charge and fined £25 on the second in default three months’ hard labour, cumulative with the first sentence. On the remaining two charges he was ordered to come up for sentence in 12 months if called upon. The magistrate commented that it was a case of pure greed.
