NEW ZEALAND'S SYMPATHY GOVERNOR-GENERAL S MESSAGE WELLINGTON. Saturday The Governor-General, Lord Galway, has wired the Secretary of State for Dominion Affairs, London, Mr Malcolm MacDonald, as follows: **The Government and people of New Zealand have been shocked by the disaster 2in2 the Chesterfield Colliery, with its grievous loss of life, and desire their deep sympathy to be conveyed to the bereaved relatives and to the Injured miners.”
