CLOSING OF SEASON
TE AROHA CROQUET CLUB At the closing of the Te Aroha Croquet Club season the president, Mrs Meikle, presented the prizes won during the year as follows:—Club championship, A. Mrs Johnson; runner-up, Mrs Powell; club championship, B, Mr-* Rundle; runner-up, Mrs Draper; Billing Cup, Mrs Draper; Coulter's Trophies. Mrs Powell (A), Miss Halligan (B), Mrs Willis (C) ; level singles. Mrs Monson; progressive aggregate for season, A, Mrs Johnson 1. Mrs Meikle 2; B, Mrs Cornish i. Miss Cann 2; A and B doubles trophies, Mrs Johnson and Mrs Powell J, Miss Powell and Mrs Wood 2: handicap doubles. Mrs Borrie and Mrs Willis.
The results of the closing-day competitions were: Progressive, Mrs Bundle 1, Mrs Willis 2; hoop target, Mrs Billina: 1, Mrs Petersen 2; croquet in the rain, Mrs Scott 1. Mrs Thornton 2: ladder, Mrs Bliss I. Mrs Allen 2; zig-zag, Mrs Hill 1. Mrs Borrie 2.
