Neill (Independent—British Columbia), in moving a resolution urging i exclusion of the Japanese, alleged I that, the Government, ’s attitude to the Orient was cowardly. He predicted the downfall of the Japanese and the triumph of the new China, which would be a potential customer for millions of dollars of Canadian goods. The wisest policy would be to extend full war support to China. The motion was talked out.
