SUCCESSFUL DANCE
FUNCTION AT NGARUA The Xgarua hall committee’s oldtime and modern dance held in the local hall recently proved very successful. The hall was well filled, many visitors being present from the surrounding districts. Music for the occasion was provided by the Caledonian Orchestra, and a delicious supper was served by the ladies and members of the committee. Mr F. Greenville was M.C. Among those present were:—Mesdames W. Scott, P. Davis, H. Pikett, J. Lamb, A. Vickers, E. Donovan, L. Donovan, F. Reeve, J. Kellet; Misses M. Teaz, H- Lillev (Auckland), E. Donovan (Taumarunui), 0. Burge, D. Kellet, J. Blomfield, M. McLellan, M. Kellet, F. Burge, S. Kellet and E. Kellet.
