COMING-OF-AGE PARTY
SUCCESSFUL PMTARURU FUNCTION To celebrate the twenty-first birthday of Mr Clarence Tibbitts, of Putaruru, a successful party was held in the rest rooms of the Women’s Division, Putaruru. Mr H. F. Tibbitts and Mrs C. Brunette were host and hostess. An enjoyable evening was spent by guests from Auckland, Rotorua, Te Awamutu and Putavuru. A I novelty waltz was won by Mr R. De Costa and Miss Zoe Barnett. Those present were:—Mesdames E. P. Thompson (Auckland), H. A. Rees, V. MeKenzil, Newton (Te Awamutu), E. F. Tibbitts (Rotorua), and H. Gillam. _ Misses Joan Brunette, Gladys and Nancy Howland, Doris Yandle, Ita and Eileen Lopdell, Zoe and Nita Barnett, N. McKenzie, E. Guillard, Georgia de Montalk (Auckland), and E. Weightman.
