BUSINESS WOMEN’S CLUB ADDRESS BY DR. DE LA MARE The Y-W.C.A. Business and Professional \Yo;men's Club held its monthly dinner recently, Miss R. Hewison, in the absence of Miss F. Young, presiding. The guest-of-honour, Dr. S. de Ja Mare, gave an interesting and enlightening address on t lie national health insurance scheme, quoting extracts from remarks made by the lion. W. Nash and a ‘‘country practitioner.” Unvler the scheme, at a cost of less than Is per week each person would have doctor's advice, hospital attention and other necessary treatment, said the speaker. An interesting discussion took place re unnecessary calls on doctors’ time and the effect on private hospitals. Miss Turner, on behalf of those present, asked Dr. de la Mare to accept a henrty vote of thanks.
