ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL

SOUTH AUCKLAND GAMES

BEOOND BERIE6 TO-MORROW The second series of games in the South Auckland Football Association s competitions will be decided to-morrow when games will be played at Hamilton and Glen Massey. Given fine weather, the grounds should be In better condition than they were last week and a better standard of play may be expected. With the benefit of last week’s games to get them settled for the new season’s play, it is anticipated that the t*ams will give a good account of themselves when they take the field to-morrow, and bright, fare should be provided for the spectators. Hamilton followers of the rnde will see the two local teams in action at Seddon Park, and It will be interesting to see how they fare in their first meeting of the season. Wanderers had a clear-cut victory over Huntly Starr on the latter’s ground last Saturday. while Rovers were defeated by Glen Massey. However, a strengthening of Rovers’ defence should serve them in good stead and their performance will be watched with Interest. Glen Massey will play on their own ground tomorrow, when they will meet Huntly Starr. The latter team suffered a severe loss last week. hut the outing should have benefited them and they may be harder to account for to-mor-row.

A programme of junior and intermediate fixtures Is also set down for decision to-morrow, and here again Interesting play should be the order of the day. The composite team which had their first outing last week has taken the name of Rangers, and they will be an Interesting addition to the junior division.
