FAREWELL EVENING
MRB S. REES HONOURED Mrs Stanley Rees, who Is shortly leaving Hamilton to take up residence in Rotorua, was the guest-of-honour recently at a farewell party tendered her by Mrs L. A. Coombes and Mrs W. J- Horton at the home of Mrs Coombes. An enjoyable evening was spent with competitions and games, prizes being won by Mrs Rees, Mrs J. Arns and Miss E. Roach. A delicious supper was served, following which Mrs Coombes asked Mrs Rees to accept a charming jug-vase as a token of esteem, and extended to her and her family best wishes for the future. Those present were:—Mesdames J. Arns, S. Hyslop, T. Dowd, P. Gallagher, Robson, L. Carthy, E. Bolton, T. Cartwright, J. Clarkin, W. Lennan, R. Mason, Misses K. Powell, P. Arns, E- Roach and F. Dowd.
