GIFT AFTERNOON
CAMBRIDGE BRIDE-TO-BE. A few days before her marriage Miss Emily Rose was honoured by a party arranged by the ladies of the Karapiro district, who presented her with a number of gifts for the kitchen. , Several competitions were arranged the winners being Mrs W. Garland, Mrs E. Higgins, and Miss A. Christini. Miss Dorothy Lochead entertained with several vocal items. •Others present were:—Mesdames N. Garland, H. Rishworth, Lochead, Nelson, J. Butler, S.
