PLEASANT EVENING

MELVILLE NEW HALL The first of a series of evenings- was commenced at the Melville new hall recently. Flag five hundred and ping-pong were enjoyed, the winners being Mrs C. Ander and Messrs J. Dawson and M. Buckland. The social committee served a delicious supper, after which dancing took place. The music was supplied by Mesdames C. Bramley and C. Haverbier and Messrs C. Haverbier and LivingstoneAmong those present were:—Mesdames C. Haverbier, C. Willey, M. Buckland, C. Ander, C. Bramley, E. Hammerton, Orr, H. Hopkinson, R. Condor, and Misses M. Monk and V. Willey.
