HOSTESSES AND FRIENDS DELIGHTFUL PROGRAMME •Chrysanthemums in yellow and i white shades formed artistic floral de- ! corations in the recreation room of i the nurses’ home at the Waikato HosI pital when a delightful evening in : honour of their friends and hostesses I who had entertained for them, was j arranged by the Student Nurses’ As- ; sociation last evening. A much-appreciated programme of i dialogue and song was presented, : those contributing being: Play-read- ! ing, Miss S. Marcroft, Miss E. Potter land Miss M. Hiider; songs, Miss Sj Ryburn; quartette, Misses S. Ryburn, I A. Holloway. Thompson and Hodgson; ; dialogue, Miss S. Marcroft and Miss : Wallace. Miss H. Ryburn was the ’ accompanist. ; Amusing competitions were also en- : joyed by the guests, and later in the j evening a delicious supper was served. ! The lady superintendent, Miss D. 1 Menzies. who was wearing a frock of black and rose flowered crepon, reJ ceived the guests, assisted by Miss 1 Adri Holloway, who wore a frock of almond green crepe Glamls embroidered in gay colours.
