SPORTSMAN'S ORDEAL TAUMARUNUI, Wednesday Mr John Edwards (25), while out with a party of pig hunters was accidentally shot at Kaitieke on Sunday when he fell over a log. Though the! mishap occurred at 4.30 p.m. it was not until 2.35 next morning that a stretcher party reached the nearest road after a rough journey. He was brought in to the' local hospital for an operation.
