ALLEGED THEFT
OHARQE AQAINBT CLERK ATTEMPT TO LEAVE COUNTRY (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Thursday On a charge of stealing £l3 7s at Christchurch on August 1, the property of the Government, Russell Frederick Organ (23), a clerk, appeared in the Police Court this morning. Obtaining a remand to Christchurch lo Monday next, a defective said Organ was arrested yesterday when about to leave by the Niagara for Australia under an assumed name.
