BURIAL ON TAHITI
PABBENQER ON MAUNOANUI SUFFERED HEART ATTACK (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Wednesday. As the Maunganul was entering Papeete Bay, Tahiti, early on the morning of Monday, August 9, In the course of a Pacific Islands pleasure cruise a passenger, Mr William D. Tucker (52), a retired farmer from Rotorua, died of heart trouble. On August 5, the second day out from Auckland, Mr Tucker sent for the ship's doctor. Dr. C. S. Laurence, and was removed to the ship's hospital, where he remained until his death. He was buried in the French cemetery on the outskirts of the town, the captain and officers of the Maunganui attending. Mr Tucker was born in Devonshire, England.
