SECOND ANNUAL BALL.
PUTARURU HUNT OLUB. The second annual ball of the Putaruru Hunt Club held in the town hall on Tuesday eveniug proved a brilliant success, the hall being thronged. Prizes won at the recent Point-lo-Polnt meeting were presented by the master, Mr Wywn Brown (Cambridge), Mr K. S. Cox, president, spoke of the year’s success which was due, he said, in no small way to the efforts of the secretary, Mr L. S. Adderbrook. Excellent music was played by the Te Aroha midnight Revellers and Mr Blennerhassett was M.C.. Among those present were:—Mesdames Adderbrook (Wanganui), S. Crompton, H. Robson, J. E. Duxfleld, T.
