NEW ZEALANDERS IN SYDNEY. EMBARGO ON LANDING. United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright SYDNEY, August 19. Two New Zealand men have been forced to remain on board the Monterey since the vessel arrived at Sydney nine days ago, and will be returned to Auckland. Both state that they were seeing friends off at Auckland, and not noticing the time, were still on the ship when it left the wharf. It is understood that arrangements were made by wireless for the payment of the fares, but nevertheless the men were not permitted to land iu Australia.
