ENJOYABLE FUNCTION.
HOROTIU HOCKEY DANCE. A very successful and enjoyable dance was held in the Horotiu Hall recently. The hall was beautifully decorated with gold, pink and black streamers and huge clusters of balloons. A visiting team front Bombay was present and the hall was thronged with dancers. Various prizes were won by Mesdames Grantham. Kernott. Walsh, L. McDonald, Buckley, and Messrs Bradley and Mawdsley. A tap dance was given by Miss T. Baxter. Excellent music was played by Clayton’s Orchestra, and Mr Menzies was M.C. Among- those present were:—Mesdames F.
