WAITOA COMMITTEE.
FOR HALL IMPROVEMENTS. A ladies’ committee comprising Mesdames J. Lynch, W. Wood, H. Kerr, A. J. Luxton, T. Reay, J. H. Marsden, A. W. Johnson, A. E. Blackwell, R. Walker, C. Wadam and Miss E. Smith was elected at a meeting convened ! by the Hall Committee recently to And ways and means of raising funds to pay off the liability on the hall, to which improvements have been carried out in the form of a large social room and inside facilities for the benefit of the local community. A feature of the improvements is the moveable electric radiators, which can be carried to any part u: the building.
