THE LOUIS-FARR BOUT. MANAGER'S DRAMATIC OFFER. DENIAL OF A QUARREL.. United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel Copyright. NEW YORK, August 15. Air A 1 Weill, manager for Lou Ambers, after watching Tommy Farr spar five rounds, dramatically offered Mr Ted Broadribb 35,000 dollars for his manager's contract, plus 2o per cent, of Farr’s championship purse, representing at least J 6.500 dollars. Mr Broadribb replied that he would not consider it unless it was agreeable to Farr, who exclaimed: “ I do not want another manager.” This appears to dispose of rumours that Farr and Broadribb are quarelling, and also indicates how American experts regal'd Farr’s chances, despite the fact, that betting odds favour Louis substantially.
