(Special to Times.) PUTARURU, Monday. During the week-end at the Putaruru golf links several semi-finals and llnals of the cup tournaments were played. In the final or the Dukcson Cup, H. \v. Gordon (12) defeated A. F. Pearce (5) by 5 and 4. In the Stratson Cup seml-ilnals A. E. Pearce (5> defeated D. C. Freeman (14) by 8 and 6, and E. Bruce Smith (8) defeated A. E. Utils (22) by 4 and 3. in the semi-llnals of tlie Junior championship A. E. Hills defeated IN’. Spruggon 1 up. and G. A. Pearce defeated V. C. Bailey' 1 up at the 19 th.
