WEDDING.
BULL—MONCKTON. A marriage of considerable Interest was solemnised at St. Alban's Church, Waingaro, on Saturday afternoon between Beatrice (Trix), second daughter of Air and Airs 0- AI. Monokton, of Waingaro, and John Creswiok Bull, of Waingaro, elder son of Air and Airs Frank Bull, of “Ascot,” Mangere. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. A. H. Bott, and Mr Don Gordon presided at the organ. The church had been very beautifully arranged by friends of the bride with a profusion of lovely pale pink prunus blossom and japonlca. The bride, who entered the ohuroh with her father, wore a very lovely gown of palest pink satin, the full bodice being gathered Into a high collar with Peter Pan points at the back, and fashioned with full sleeves. The graceful skirt had kick pleats below the knee-line, and a wide belt heavily embossed in gold enoircled the waistline. Her beautiful veil of pink tulle was caught simply to the head with a double row of pearls and fell in billowy folds to a long train. She carried a bouquet of blush pink magnolia stellata.
Aliss Elizabeth Afonckton (sister of the bride) was the bridesmaid and wore a charming frock of magnolia brocade with coat of gold and an unusual Dutch cap of gold. She carried a bouquet of shaded cream and gold freczlas.
Mr Charleton E. Dawson was the best man. and Dr. E. D’Arcy and Air William Rathbone were the ushers.
After the ceremony a reception was held at “ Brooklands,” Waingaro, where the rooms had been most attractively arranged with pink prunus blossom and magnolia stellata. The guests were received by tlie bride's mother, Airs Alonckton, who was wearing a frock in pearl grey with matching coat, and violet hat. She carried a posy of mauve and violet anemones and freezias- Sho was assisted by the bridegroom’s mother, Airs Bull, who wore an ensemble in petunia, relieved with dark blue, and petunia hat. She carried a posy In shades to match.
When Mr and Airs J. C. Bull left by car for the honeymoon the bride travelled wearing a wine suit and hat relieved with palest pink. They will make their home at “ Brooklands,” Waingaro. In the evening the guests were entertained at “ Brooklands,” when a very happy time was spent.
