LONDON DOCKS.
BIG SCHEME OF IMPROVEMENT. TOTAL OUTLAY OF £12,000,000. FJ- (Official Wireless.) RUGBY, August 12. A scheme for improving Millwall Dock, London, at an estimated cost of £IIO,OOO has been adopted by the Port of London Authority. It is to be begun immediately. It will be part of the authority’s £12,000,000 scheme of general port improvement. Millwall Dock is about four miles from London Bridge. The dock will be deepened, the quay widened, and new storage erected in such a way as to cause a minimum of disturbance to shipping.
