Petersen, ol j Te Aroha, and the late Mr Arnold Pet- { ersen, of Katikati, and Arthur Grat- I I wick, elder son of Mr F. G. Yarrall, 1 |of Waitoa. Canon C. W. Turner officiated, and the wedding music was I g played by Miss Joan Turner. e The bride, who was given away by ' her uncle, Mr A. Petersen, .wore a ! classical gown of c:re satin with div- ' iderl train- The bodice was of lace | I over satin with collar in the front and : at the back, and the full sleeves were . gathered in at the elbows and tightfitting to the wrists. Her veil was | of silk tulle trimmed with Brussels i j lace and she carried a bouquet of '* I roses with maidenhair and asparagus fern. The Misses Muriel Luxton, Ruth ! Yarrall and Amelia Petersen were the bridesmaids and were frocked in shades of green, shell pink and daffo- . dil silk velvet. Similarly shaped, the I frocks were cut on classical lines, with cowl necklines fitting to tuck yokes * . with high standing collars al the back. ‘Each was reliexed with a satin sash I and velvet buttons, and they wore ' flowered caps in toning shades. They carried bouque s of spring flowers. \ Mr George Yarrall (brother of the br'degroom) was best man, and Mi Robert Petersen (brother of the bride), and Mr Eden Yarrall were I groomsmen. 1 After the ceremony a reception was f held at the Majestic Theatre rooms where Mrs Peterson received th» I * guests wearing a smart brown tailored jj * cos.umo with accessories to tone. Sh> | ’ i carr.ed a posy in russet tints. Mr* i; - Yarrall wore a brown costume with i; z accessories to tone. r | Mr and Mrs Arthur Yarrall left , i later for the honeymoon, the bride | wearing a blue suit with navy coat 3 and hat to tone.
