Mrs Llngwood, of Brandon, Suffolk, aged 26, whose husband is a company director, has given birth to quadruplets—all boys. Two of the babies weigh 31to each and the others 31b 3oz and 31b 2oz. The authorities at the Queen Charlotte’s Maternity Hospital. London, spnt % nurse to attend the mother and children. Britain has only one other set ol quadruplets, born in 1935. The town-crier of Thetford, where quadruplets, were born to Mrs Lingwood, of Brandon, Suffolk, in a nursing home, proclaimed the news: “ Oyez 1 Oyez I Oyez l Whereas in this ancient and honourable town, at one time the Saxon capital, the good wife Olive Llngwood, of Brandon, has been happily delivered of four goodly children, I, John. Clark, call on all to rejoice at these fourfold bles-slngs. God Save the King.” The quadruplets will probably be given the names of Adrian, Bernard, Conrad and David. The babies are wrapped in cotton wool and are fed with an eye-dropper. The father is aged 35 and the mother 26. They were married in 1935. TWO BABIEB DEAD. USE OF OXYGEN UNSUCCESSFUL.
