SUCCESSFUL FUNCTION.

SOCIAL AND DRAMATIC CLUB. VERY HAPPY EVENING. Another successful and much appreciated evening was held by the St. Mary’s Social and Dramatic Club in the Marlst Hall on Wednesday and was again largely attended. . A short programme was much enjoyed, items being given by Mr Dave Reid, humorous monologues; Mr Tom Barnett, tap dances; and Mr Con O’Dea, saxophone solos. Dancing was then enjoyed, music being played by Mr C. Williams (piano) and Mr C. O’Dea (saxophone). Extras were played by Mrs M. J. Galvin and Mr W. Cassidy, and Mr T. N. Pemberton was M.C.
