LADIES’ NIGHT.

CAMBRIDGE ORPHANS’ CLUB. (Special to Times.) CAMBRIDGE, Thursday. Ladles’ night is usually one of the oir standing functions In an orphans- Clti session and the gathering held by thw Cambridge Club last evening In the Parish Hall was no exception. There was an attendance of over 1 to. Including visitors rrom Hamilton, Te Awamutu, Ohaupo and Morrlnsville. An excellent programme was provided by visiting and local artlses. and Bro. A. J. Sinclair, of Te Awamutu. who presided, maintained a bright atmopshere throughout. Bro. Sinclair was Installed to ofilce by Rro. C. \. Finch, president of the Cam- e bridge Club, and he extended a warm welcome to the ladies and visitors. The usual orphans’ supper was provided.-arter which Bro. Sinclair gave a humorous address lu which he criticised the lion. R. Scruple's Road Code and offered his own suggestions Tor maintaining the sarety of the highways. Later in the evening. Rro. A. E. Sandford. of the Hamilton Club, on behalf of the visltor>. thanked the Cambridge members Tor their hospitality and the excellent programme. The programme was as rollows: Song*, Bro. Cyril Wood. Bro. W. Richards (Hamilton), Bro. E. 11. uuill <Hamiltoni. Bro. A. Andrew ; selections by the club orchestra; violin solos. Bro. M. Richardson) pianoforte numbers, Bro. A. J. Sinclair) conjuring, Bro. li. Dixoii_(Hamilton).
