Over 600 shells fell In Madrid during ths night’s bombardment. The largest hospital was hit, and patients were transferred to the basements. HEAVY BOMBARDMENT. The insurgents’ batteries round Madrid began a very heavy bombardment of the capital at 3 a.m. to-day. More than 60 shells fell in the centre of the city in 15 minutes. The Telephone Building was hit twice. People fled to cellars and to other places of refuge.
