CHRISTCHURCH FIGUREB. (By Telesrranh.— press Association.) CHRIST'CHURCH, Monday. The Customs revenue for July showed an Increase of £8776 over July, 1936. The chief items for July, 1937, with those for July, 1936, in parentheses, were:—Customs, £99,412 (£95,771); beer excise, £8824 (£7731); sale stax, £35,763 (£30,767); petrol tax, £20,916 (£21,863). The totals were £167,733 and £158.957. The April to July figures were:—Customs, £400.453 (£337,8 18); beer excise, £36,722 (£28,832); sales lax, £154,830 (£122,155); petrol tax, £88,912 (£79,576). Totals, £693,124 (£577,719).
