FIGURES FOR HAMILTON. FIVE MORE HOUSES. . The permits for five more new houses in Hamilton were approved by the Hamilton Borough Council during last month, this bringing the total new houses to be erected in Hamilton this year to 68. Over the past two years and seven months 261 new houses have been approved for Hamilton and the majority of them have been completed but there is still an aeute shortage. The building figures for last month disclose that 2 5 permits entailing work estimated at £8664 were approved as again Is 30 permits at £9504 for the corresponding month last year. Whereas there were five new houses last month, for Ihe corresponding period last year there were nine.
