DANCE AT FENCOURT.
COMINQ-OF-AGE FUNCTION. Air and Mrs R. Wattam were host and hostess recently at a very enjoy- ; able dance held in honour of their vson Air Jack Wattam’s twenty-first | birthday, in the Fencourt Hall which j was brightly decorated with stream- { ers and balloons. I The main feature of the party was j a beautiful birthday cake made by Mrs | Watiain and Afiss Doreen Wattam, and ‘iced by Airs T. Turnbull, effective de- ! oorations being kewpies representing • the Hautapu football team in their colours with a goalpost at either end. | Lewis Hamilton proposed the toast of the guest-of-honour who suitably replied, thanking his parents and j Biose who had made the evening such : a success. A delicious supper was !served. Mrs Wattam was wearing midnight blue lace and pony cloth coatee; Mrs j *!’• Turnbull, bottle green matalasse; Airs AY. McKinley, navy and white novelty crepe; Aliss Doreen Wattam, white matalasse and silver, with pink pony cloth coatee.
