500 EVENING. The Walton Returned Soldiers held i n 500 card evening and dance recently, | about 100 being present. Prizes for cards were won bv Miss Joan Niche 11s and Afr. McMillan and; consolation prizes by Mrs. Black and' Air. S. 'Craig. Music was played by Mrs. Barlow and Airs. Dodd and Air. C. | Atartin (accordion’). The proceeds, were in aid of the new supper-room j for the hall. Bible Class. The Presbyterian Young Women’s j Bible Class held their annual meeting i at Mrs. Orr’s residence recently. The following were elected for the coming year;—Leader: A Ti ss Irene] Thompson; sub-leader, Mrs. A. W.; Pahl; secretary and treasurer. Miss Eileen Fausett. Rev. Coombes was present and gave ! an address on Palestine. Afternoon tea was served by Mrs.; Orr at the conclusion of the meeting. J
