IRON AND STEEL.
OVERSIGHT OF INDUSTRY. ADVISORY COMMITTEE APPOINTED (Official Wireless.) RUGBY, July 28. The Government has invited the import Duties Advisory Committee, which has agreed, to be the body responsible for exercising general oversight of the policy of the iron and steel industry. The desirability of such oversight hv an independent body was one of the principal recommendations of the committee in its recent report on the industry.
