GORDONTON EVENING.
BAND CONCERT AND DANCE. The Gordonton Hall was well filled recently when (lie Hamilton .Citizens’ Band and assisting artists presented I heir second concert to augment ihe local hall, Presbyterian and Anglican Church funds. The following programme was presented to an appreciative audience: — Selections, Citizens’ Band; songs by Mrs Jury, Misses Joy Peach, Whitlaker, Lorna Bridges and Mr J. Scrimshaw; dances by Misses Joyce and Thelma Patterson, Shirley Slade, Lorna Bridges; sketch, 'Mr Gordon Hear and Miss Phyl Rear; elocution. Miss Lorna Bridges; comedian, Mr Honnikcr; accordion items by Mr Kil - burn; and selections, Citizens Band. At I lie conclusion of the concert programme supper was served in the supper-morn, Ihe iahles being gay with vases of pink camellias. Ranch's occupied Die rest of the evening, wilh Mrs A. <». 801 lat the piano, and Mr D. S. Bidden, M.C.
