VALUES AT PUTARURU. The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Company, Limited, report having held their usual stock sale when a medium yarding of cattle came forward with fat cows and boners showing no alteration. A good entry of dairy cattle comprised mostly rlose-up heifers, these finding a ready sale, with backward and inferior sorts dull. There was only a small entry of sheep, with quotations showing no change on late rates. A small yarding of pigs came forward with stores and xveaners selling well at prices in advance of late rates, while porkers changed hands at recent quotations. A line of breeding sows on account of Mr S. Wilson made up to £4 17s 6d. Light fat cows and heifers made £6 to £6 10s; heavy boner cows, £3 10s to £4 ss; lighter, 30s to £2 16s; forward conditioned Shorthorn cows, £3 14s to £4 10s; good quality Jersey heifers, close to profit, £9 5s to £lO ss; August calvers, £7 10s to £8 10s; heifers, more backward, £4 15s to £5 15s; sound dairy cows, £6 to £7 15s; later, £4 10s to £5 10s. Sheep: Light fat ewes. 21s 6d; empty store ewes. 14s 9d to 15s Id; forward conditioned lambs, 15s lOd. Pigs: Large -stores, 28s to 295; light porkers, £2 2s to £2 15s; best weaners, 21s to 225; smaller to 13s 6d; Taimvorth breeding sows, close to farrowing £4 17s 6d; more backward sows, £2 10s.
