KIRILINKO DISQUALIFIED. (Special to Times.) AUCKLAND, Tuesday. After each had obtained a fall, Matros Klilinko was disqualified In the seventh round of a professional wrestling bout with Lofty Blomfleld in the Town Hall for persistently using a stranglehold, he having been repeatedly warned by the referee. The ‘first fall was gained by Kirlllnko in the third round with a body press following forearm Jolting and a rolling back-loop slam. In the sixth round Blomfleld cleverly tripped his opponent to apply his favourite octopus clamp hold, which won him a submission fall. “STRANGLER” LEWIS ARRIVES. (Special to Time-s.) AUCKLAND, Tuesday. Ed (“Strangler”) Lewis, five times undisputed holder of the world’s heavyweight title, arrived in Auckland from Vancouver by the Monowal yesterday morning. Lewis, who intends to remain in New Zealand for several weeks, during which time he will take part in a number of bouts, will later go to Australia and from there to India. LITTLE WOLF V. SPELLMAN. WELLINGTON, Monday. A colourful wrestling bout re-sulted in Chief Little Wolf defeating John Spellman by a single fall at the Town Hall to-night. Little Wolf gave a display of Navajo savagery, and was repeatedly warned by the referee for the use of his fists, and for kicking in the sixth round. He took a submission fall with an Indian deathlock.
