BARN DANCE.
FUNCTION AT NGARUA. The re-opening function of the oldtime dances held in Mr McGee’s barn was attended by a large number, visitors being present from Sprngdale, Waitoa and Waihou. Music was provided by Mr P. Jones and extras were played by Messrs 11. Hickey, T. Holmes and J. Steiner. A novelty waltz was won by Mr and Mrs A. Clark. Supper was served by the Ladies’ committee. Messrs G. Reid and B. Schumacher were joint M's.G.
