LEAGUE OF MOTHERS.

TOKANUI BRANCH. The July meeting held at Cross ftoads Hail was presided over by the president, Mrs F. H. Barnett. Rev. M. Sullivan, of Te Awamutu, addressed the meeting, dealing with mission work in Auckland and mentioned the beneficent work done by the Presbyterian, Methodist, Salvation Army and Roman Catholic missions and the Jasper Calder and Dock Street mission with which he was more olosely associated. Mrs Sullivan sang two solos which were much appreciated. Mrs McConkey gave the thought for the month. Afternoon tea concluded the meeting.
