CARD EVENING.
NQARUA HALL COMMITTEE. There was a very large attendance at the card evening held recently in the local hall under the auspices of the hall committee, visitors being present from Waitoa, Springdale, Walhrou and Walton. The successful players in the 500 tournament were Mrs H. Pikett and Mr H. Smith. Supper was served by the committee at the conclusion of the play. Mr F. Greenville controlled the tournament, a very enjoyable evening /concluding with games of ping-pong.
