Adsum (Baker) gave a safe display» over a round or the Steeplechase course but did not have a great amount of pace on. Bells of Bow (Lawson) accomlpanied him over the fences on the flat the first time. Valpeen (Bowden) Forest Glow (c. Thomson), \Vindsar Lad (Muir) and Friendly Boy (McLaughlin) were schooled over a round or the steeplechase course and got through their task in good style.
