Danish, 106 sto 107 s; choicest salted. New Zealand 975; unsalted, New Zealand 98s, Australian 975. Cheese is steady. New Zealand, white 58s, coloured 565; Australian, white 56s to 56s 6d, coloured 555. A STRONGER MARKET. RISE IN PRICE IN LONDON. AUCKLAND, Friday. Advices from London state that ths the rise in pi*ices for butter has been held and New Zealand is now quoted a shade stronger at 97s per cwt. The mai-ket is firm. A recent report from Australia states that the production of butter there continues to decline, but the weekly decrease during April was not as pronounced as in March, nor as sharp as it was during April of last year. From July 1, 1935, to April 27, 1936, total gradings of butter throughout Australia amounted to 80,072 tons, which is 22,582 tons less than the total for the same seriod of the previous season.
