DANCE AT KAIRANGI.

HAPPY EVENING SPENT. A most enjoyable dance and social evening, organised by the Hall Committee, was held in the Kairangi Hall on Tuesday evening. There was a good attendance of settlers and visitors, and excellent music was supplied by Mrs P. Alderman (piano) and Mr C. W. Hodgson (violin). Extras were played by Mr L. Taylor. A spot waltz was won by Miss Jean Looker and Mr Roy Taylor. Community singing was led by the M.C., Mr A. Jones.

The ladies of the social committee were responsible for the supper. Among those present were :—Mesdames J. Main, L. Taylor, J. Steer, J. Partridge, J. Taylor, P. Alderman, L. Dick, H. Morriss.

Misses E. Partridge, J. Looker, R. Bennett, Joan Looker, G. Main, A. Alderman.
