ELEGTION OF DIRECTORS. CRITICISM OF ACTIONS. (By Telea-ranh.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON. Tuesday. A general meeting of preference shareholders of the Associated Motorists Petrol Company was held to-day for the purpose of electing two directors to represent them on tho board. Tho chairman. Mr Charles Todd, allowed a general discussion to hake plaro before tho poll was actually taken. Mr Todd said it would take three, perhaps four days before the result of the poll was known and the meeting afterwards adjourned till May Before tho adjournment was taken Mr G. It. I‘. Fitzgerald, one of those who criticised the actions by the directors in the administration of the affairs of the company, asked those who wore In sympathy with tho views placed before the meeting by him and his supporters to meet him during the ! Afternoon with a view to eleolingr a ; committee so that they rnulil meet the 1 board and ret an agreement that would not crush the company.”
