“SHOULD NEVER DRIVE”
DEATH OF MOTOR-CYCLISTS SHIP’S FIREMAN IMPRISONED. NO LICENSE FOR TEN YEARS. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Monday. William Mcßeynolds, a ship’s fireman, was charged in court today with negligent driving, thereby causing the deaths of two men on a jpOtor-cycle on the Hutt Road and was sentenced to eighteen months’ reformative detention. He was prohibited from obtaining a driving license for ten years.
Mr Justice Blair said Mcßeynolds was constitutionally a person who should never he allowed to drive because he was one of those who could not appreciate the rights ol‘ other people on the road.
